Miami City Ballet
Not Without Tears
In October 2018, I was afforded the rare privilege of spending two weeks inside Miami City Ballet to follow principal dancers Rainer Krenstetter and Tricia Albertson.
'Not Without Tears - A Life Lived Onstage' is the result of my time with Rainer. I wrote Rainer's memoir and photo book to provide the American audience with an insight into both Rainer's and the company's life as they prepare to open the 2018 season in Miami.

Shadow Aspect
Shadow Aspect
I spent four years, intermittently, following Lady Mara Galeazzi OMRI (former principal dancer of the Royal Ballet) behind the stage with the aim of providing audiences with an insight into a ballerina's lifestyle. Our journey resulted in me writing her memoir too, which focusses on her motivation to overcome personal challenges and illness to become, and maintain, her status as a world renowned ballerina.
'Shadow Aspect - My Journey of Expression' is available worldwide on Amazon and at The Royal Opera House.

Face of Defiance
Face of Defiance
My portraits taken between 2014 - 2017 in the UK, USA and Senegal which sought to change the narrative about how survivors of female genital mutilation are portrayed. Exhibited in New York, Washington DC, Senegal, London and the National Portrait Gallery. Undertaken with with Dr Leyla Hussein OBE and with thanks to the Wallace Global Fund.
Bridging A Gap Community Initiative
I volunteered to shoot the Ugandan Bridging A Gap Community Initiative in 2015. BAGCI feeds and helps educate the poorest children in the Kajjansi slums. I remain extremely grateful for those who were inspired by my imagery and funded this project for another 13 months.

Paxton Green COVID Vaccination Centre
Between January and May 2021, I volunteered as a Covid marshal at the Paxton Green Group Practice vaccination centre in Crystal Palace, London. The challenge faced by the Practice, to vaccinate thousands of people in the local community, was formidable. My aim was to help promote the work of the Practice in order to increase the confidence of local diverse communities and increase their vaccine take-up rate. My story was published in the South London Press.
